Who is Colorado Health Partnerships? (CHP)
Colorado Health Partnerships, (CHP) is a public/private partnership providing quality mental health services to Medicaid eligible members in southern and western Colorado. CHP was formed in 1995, when 8 community mental health centers and Beacon Health Options, the leading public sector managed behavioral healthcare organization in the country formed an LLC that contracts with Colorado’s Department of Health Care Policy and Financing. Colorado Health Partnerships has responsibility for serving over 457,000 Medicaid eligible members through 8 community mental health centers that span 43 counties.
The eight community mental-health centers that make up the three partners are:
- Mind Springs Health – Glenwood Springs
- The Center for Mental Health – Montrose
- AspenPointe – Colorado Springs
- San Luis Valley Behavioral Health Group – Alamosa
- Southeast Health Group - La Junta
- AXISHealth System – Durango
- Health Solutions – Pueblo
- Solvista Health – Canon City
CHP believes individuals and families can and do recover from mental illness and substance use disorders and devotes significant resources to helping people overcome the challenges of serious and persistent mental illness and substance abuse.
If your clients in one of the following counties in Colorado and are receiving Medicaid, they are automatically enrolled in the program.
